LDN can treat Cancer

According to a report in The International Journal of Oncology, giving low dose naltrexone (LDN) to cancer patients can improve the immune system's ability to kill cancerous cells, as well as improve the efficacy of standard cancer treatments and immunotherapy. Low dose naltrexone (LDN) has been used by physicians since 1984 in the setting of advanced cancers including gastrointestinal tumors such as colon cancer and pancreatic cancer. The effect of LDN has been studied in laboratory animal models with several types of cancer. In human medicine, use of low-dose naltrexone (LDN) as a chemotherapy adjuvant provides increased survival when used to treat some types of cancers , including mammary carcinoma. Clinical trials have proposed a unique mechanism(s) allowing LDN to affect tumors. LDN shows promising results for people with primary cancer of the bladder, breast, liver, lung, lymph nodes, colon and rectum.
